Anatomy of a Political Convention

According to bylaws of almost any organization, there are prescribed ways to accomplish goals, procedures, elections, etc. If you belong to a club in any field, such as political, pets, fishing, hunting, singing, and many more, you will find elections of officers, meetings, planned events and more.

Roberts Rules of Order is usually heavily relied upon in any organization of more than a few scattered members, but it is often misunderstood, even misquoted. This powerful book title was Pocket Manual of Rules of Order for Deliberative Assemblies, published in February 1876 by then U.S. Army Colonel Henry Martyn Robert (1837–1923) with the short title Robert's Rules of Order placed on its cover. Since that time it has undergone several revisions.

We are going to have multiple speakers consisting of people who were at a recent convention, hear their stories, and learn how to be effective in the realm of the political arena! Only by knowing the rules, holding to our principles and commitment to the US Constitution, and unwavering, active participation in the process will we ultimately win the day and defeat the rampant corruption that has taken our country by storm!
