Love the new site, and it is sooo easy to use! Just a question, as I am not computer super savy, when I posted a couple things on my page, I copied to fb and twitter, but how do I get it to post to my fb fan page?

ning doesn't post to facebook fan pages yet! That would definitely make this a GREAT tool and easy to syndicate your information.

I hope they make that work soon.

They actually just got posting to facebook going last week!

Thanks Ben! I look forward to having that app available. Have a great night!

How can I post a link?

Definitely in the forums. Or you could write a blog post about whatever it is (but we are moderating those right now).

We could possibly add a forum section for links. Also these is a ning app for links that I haven't added yet.

If its a video you can link to those in the videos section.

Freeman's Finds is my favorite part of KD magazine, maybe he could have an online feature, too?

Excellent Suggestion. I'm not sure that Mark has a computer (they aren't old enough), but we could definitely make a Mark's Booth online. We do have outtakes (I think) of some of his items as well.

How about a recipe section? Also, I liked the local restaurant guide with menus listed on the old KD site.

I'm working on figuring out a business directory, with attachments for menus. Got a lot of other ideas, but limited time :)

I think that we have made a wonderful start, and that the timing was right for doing this - facebook is getting too big and impersonal and people are wanting something that feels a little more like home.

OK - you can now post to facebook pages instead of your profile!!

http://www.kitchendrawer.net/profiles/connections/edit <- go there and there will be an option to switch it.

It's either one or the other, but is pretty handy.

KD.net *could* be your interweb hub for posting things.

You can also post via email as well! each one of you have a personalized email address to send stuff into too.
